I have been into Amatuer Radio for a long time. I have always wanted a tower. So when the man doing the site survey to get high speed wireless internet access said, "I'm sorry, You would need a one hundred foot tower to get access from here" I wasted no time making it happen. Three weeks later it was done.
I called the man back and told him I was on the top of my tower looking down on his building 6 miles away in west bath. When he arrived he got out of his car. Bent his head back to look up at the tower and said, "What some people won't do for internet access.
My plan is to detail the parts and pieces required to put up a tower. I found it difficult to get information when I put mine up and thought it may be a resource for others looking to put up a tower. This one is Rohn 25 sections 130' high. The following pictures were taken from the top.
