I recently found out about the Super Dimensional Fortress. At first I thought the name was a joke. Its not. Its a place where a Linux command line fan, like myself, can get a shell account on a powerful system that encourages you to experiment and learn. A great place to meet like minded people as well. This WiFi Wireless Link between Oak Hill and my home spans ~13 Miles. The link has been in operation for many years and virtually trouble free. The major issues so far have been blown over dish antennas, extended brown outs and trees.

I have been into Amateur Radio for a long time. I have always wanted a tower. So when the man doing the site survey to get high speed wireless internet access said, "I'm sorry, You would need a one hundred foot tower to get access from here" I wasted no time making it happen. Three weeks later it was done.
